Class of 2019, Farewell and So Long!
This June, after a year of hard work and dedication, YAYB students graduated with HSE certificates and caps in hand. YAYB sent them off with a lunch reception before attending the City-wide Pathways 2 Graduation ceremony. We caught up with a few of our students-turned-alumni, and don’t they look sharp!
East Harlem Helps Us Celebrate 40 Years
Youth Action CommUNITY Day was a hit! East Harlemites kicked off the summer dancing, enjoying free food and giveaways, and learning about the various organizations in their backyards. The event was the first of many to celebrate YAYB’s fortieth anniversary. A special thank you to the Hispanic Federation, City Councilmember Diana Ayala, NYPD Precincts 23 and 25, and all of our partners, volunteers, and guests!

On August 21st, we are hosting a mixer to give YouthBuild alumni and young professionals the opportunity to get to know the neighborhood, meet and/or reengage with YAYB, and network with entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
